Celebrating Success: Mr Ben Himme and the Black Bots Robotics Team

A huge congratulations to Mr Ben Himme and his Black Bots Robotics Team—Gracie Lewis, Kayla Mitchell, and Mami Koizumi—for their outstanding achievement at the International First Global Challenge in Athens!

Competing against 180 teams from across the globe, the Black Bots showcased their skill, determination, and ingenuity, ranking 41st overall. Their robot performed exceptionally, a testament to the team’s countless hours of design, coding, and testing.

We’re incredibly proud of the team’s hard work and the inspiring mentorship provided by Mr Himme, one of The Academy's founding teachers. His dedication to fostering creativity and teamwork has empowered the Black Bots to shine on the international stage.
